Student Leadership

At St Monica’s all students in Year 6 are part of the school leaders. This stems from the belief that all Year 6 students need to experience leadership and discover the benefits from the opportunity to develop their potential. Leadership roles include

As part of their leadership role the Year Six students take on the responsibility of being school playground mediators. The students are asked to assist teachers in supervising certain areas of the school playground. The students are asked to use the conflict resolution and leadership skills they have learned at the beginning of the year to help the younger children resolve playground disputes.
Student Representative Council Members – SRC (2 students from Years 3,4 and 5 selected by their peers at the start of the school year).
