Whole School Focus – Footstep of Engagement 

This term our whole school focus is Opening our Hearts to the Holy Spirit by using the Footstep of Engagement. Engagement is a willingness to participate—a choice to play an active role in the opportunities around us. 
 

How will you open your heart and use the Footstep of Engagement? 

Whole School Prayer 

Tomorrow 3 Blue will lead our first Whole School Prayer on Opening our Hearts to the Holy Spirit using the Footstep of Engagement with a focus on ourselves. You are warmly invited to join our community at St Monica’s Church at 9.10am. 

Youth Ministry 

This term we welcome Katie Brasnett in the role of Youth Minister while Ethan Mass completes his final teaching practicum. Katie, a former student of St Monica’s Primary School, is also a Youth Minister in our parish. She brings with her a passion for the formation of young people and a deep understanding of our community. Katie has been leading the parish youth group and altar servers club and will be a wonderful asset to our school. 

Sacrament of Confirmation 

Many of our Year 6 students will be preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation this term. We keep these students in our prayers as they take this important step in completing their Christian initiation.
